Vratimo javni prolaz prema šetnici Marine Pirovac i maknemo žičanu ogradu oko restorana Marina
Tražimo da se vrati prolaz između šetnice Marine Pirovac i prolaza kroz zgradu Pirovčanke, kao što je bio 2020. godine. Taj prolaz je pregrađen gusto posloženim kontejnerima Marine Pirovac i ogradom kojom je ograđen prolaz kraj kontejnera i cijela terasa restorana Marina.
To je javni prolaz koji se koristio dugi niz godina i javnost ima pravo na normalno kretanje njime. Zatvaranjem tog prolaza napravljena je slijepa ulica koja nikome ne služi, a javnosti smanjuje dostupnost usluga, te stvara poteškoće u snalaženju i kretanju, pogotovo slabo pokretnima i roditeljima sa djecom u kolicima.
Pregrađivanje tog prolaza je počelo 2021. kada je na vlast došla nova uprava Marine Pirovac, te je presložila kontejnere i na mjesto prolaza nepotrebno posadila vrt. U toj fazi su prolaznici bili primorani obilaziti vrt po stepenicama uz restoran, da bi uprava 2022. godine kontejnere pomaknula na vrt, te dodala ogradu da u potpunosti zatvori prolaz preko stepenica.
Zatvaranjem prolaza stvoren je logistički nered koji stvara konfuziju i razočaranje javnosti koja se čudi nastaloj situaciji. Ono nepotrebno narušava logiku kretanja u Pirovcu, čime su oštećeni mještani, turisti i sami gosti marine koji ne mogu doći do ponuđača usluga oko zgrade Pirovčanke.
Za ugled Pirovca kao uređene turističke destinacije ide na sramotu žičana ograda prekrivena umjetnim zelenilom, koja je od Marine Pirovac nedobronamjerno postavljena duž cijele staklene stijene restorana; restorana zbog kojeg marina službeno dobiva dodatno sidro (pandan zvjezdice kod hotela). Ograda izaziva čuđenje, ali ono što izaziva zgražanje je nedokučiva motivacija takvoga čina što šteti uređenju i ugođaju koji bi svako, a pogotovo turističko mjesto trebalo imati.
Tražimo da se:
- Vrati prolaz između šetnice Marine Pirovac i prolaza kroz zgradu Pirovčanke, kao što je bio 2020. godine
- Ukloni žičana ograda koja je 2022. godine stavljena oko terase restorana Marina

Petition to revert the public passage to the Marina Pirovac promenade and remove the wired fence around the restaurant Marina
We ask for the passage between Marina Pirovac promenade and "Pirovčanka" building to be reverted as it was in 2020. The passage is currently blocked by Marina Pirovac containers and a wired fence that spans from the containers around the entire terrace of the restaurant "Marina".
This passage has been in use as a public right of way for number of years and the public has the right to continue using it as such. The enclosing of the passage began in 2021 with the change in ownership of Marina Pirovac. New leadership rearranged the containers and planted a garden, creating nuisance for the passage users as they were forced to go around the garden, over the restaurant stairs and terrace.
Later, in 2022 the containers were relocated over the garden and additional fence was added to close off the passage over the stairs completely. The public right of way is disrupted for the local users, tourists and even guests of marina that are struggling to reach service providers within the "Pirovčanka" building.
The enclosure created additional stress, confusion and disappointment between the surprised public as no logical explanation was offered. Current closure of the passage has also created a number of difficulties for the local users and marina visitors. As such, accessibility to services is reduced for all users, especially for users with reduced mobility, elderly and parents with children in strollers.
Wired fence covered with artificial greenery, which was intentionally erected by marina's new leadership, weakens the reputation of the entire Marina Pirovac. The fence is placed around the whole terrace of the resturant Marina, which significantly deteriorates the overall design and service of the restaurant. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant adds one additional anchor (equivalent to a star of a hotel) to the official rank of the marina.
The fence comes as a surprise to most, without any valid explanation for such action, especially if one considers the high aesthetic and ambiental value a destination such as this should have.
We ask that:
- The passage between Marina Pirovac promenade and "Pirovčanka" building is reverted and opened as it was in 2020
- The wired fence that was placed in 2022 is removed from the terrace of restaurant "Marina"
